matt von d this album took a little time to grow on me, but i think it ranks with some of Sole’s best work. there’s so much urgency to the lyrics and i believe this album will serve well as a diary entry overview of the anxiety and uncertainty and frustration we were collectively dealing with with during the pandemic—most of which persists even now with the state of the economy and world politics.

still waiting for another team-up w/ the sky rider band, though!!!

Sometimes you come across an artist that is compelled to do what they do. I appreciate the musicality and the arrangement and the artistry of the songs. He sings and plays like his life depends on it. I appreciate the humanity of the lyrics… Like reading Tortilla Flats, or watching Nobody’s Fool. Ceschi is a bright star.
